Kiwi’s Dad
Hi, my name is David and I’ve been surrounded by animals great and small through out my life. Every dog, cat, fish, newt, hamster, tortoise, spider and budgie have been family. These days I’m dad to a Cockapoo called kiwi, I’ve been her dad since she was a puppy and we have done everything together, so I know how much of a bond we build with our adopted fuzzy kids. And thanks to her, for the last 4 years we’ve been given the pleasure and trust in looking after and walking other people’s dogs. It all started 4 years ago while kiwi was a puppy and walking with her friends. I loved running about playing with them, diving into bushes and chasing the ball, walking through woods, or just strolling through the high street making people smile. From there word got out about us and people started asking us to walk their dogs. I couldn’t think of anything better so before I knew it we had a business. Then we had to move from our home in North London to Basingstoke. It was a tearful farewell to her friends who were more like family to us but we’re looking forward to meeting new ones here
Kevin’s Mum
Hi, I’m Mandy and I am Kevin’s mum. I believe all animals should be recognised as emotional creatures and treated as such. From my childhood I’ve been like this, saving bee’s, butterflies and frogs as a child, rescuing injured wild life from the road as a biker in my teens, volunteering on local conservation work with my late husband and working with the wild life in our allotment. At home I have two rescue polish bantam chickens called Harlequin and Florence as well as my handsome boy Kevin. Who I love with all my heart. He is a ex-racing greyhound who came home with me from Celia Cross Greyhound Trust in 2017. At the same time my niece started her dog walking business Parker’s Paws and I helped as a volunteer dog walker during the early days, but now she has moved away from being exclusive dog walking and now I feel it is time to start my own dog walking business.
